The Latin American Association for Groundwater Hydrology Development  (ALHSUD)  is pleased  to invite the scientific and professional community to attend the XVII  Latin American Hydrology Congress and the 1st Latin American Groundwater Exhibition (EXPO AGUASUB 27).       This event will be held from 5th to 7th May 2027 at the Punta del Este Convention Center in Uruguay,   including pre-Congress courses on the 3rd and 4th May.

This Congress will focus in crucial topics such as:   Characterization and Dynamics of Aquifer Systems; Quality, Pollution and Protection; Innovation; Technology and Modeling;  Sustainability, Governance and Geopolitics.    The academic  program will be based on keynote lectures, round tables for discussion as well as submission of oral and poster scientific  papers.        Furthermore, the AGUASUB27 EXHIBIT  will be a great networking opportunity for researchers, decision takers  as well as companies and services  related to the field promoting innovative solutions for groundwater management.

ALHSUD strengthens its commitment towards research, protection, and sustainable management of aquifers in Latin America and the Caribbean.  In a context of constant political and social transformations, we maintain that groundwater governance  is not just a technical challenge,  but a fundamental ethical pillar for regional stability, reaffirming  that public policy must be based on scientific evidence.
